Senior Software Product Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery.

    • Develop and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with the company's goals and mission.

    • Create a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements based on market research, customer feedback, and industry trends.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and address current gaps.

    • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to gather input and insights for product development.

    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between different departments to drive the product forward.

  • Prioritize product features based on feedback, business goals, and technical feasibility.

    • Evaluate and prioritize product features and improvements, considering customer feedback, business objectives, and technical constraints.

  • Work with engineering to ensure efficient and timely product development.

    • Collaborate with engineering teams to define product requirements, features, and specifications.

    • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, to ensure efficient and on-time delivery.

  • Track product performance, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions for improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of software Product Management experience, working with internal teams and stakeholders.

  • 3 years of experience building and shipping technical products.

  • Proven ability to drive product direction, go-to-market strategy, and product launch.

  • Strong analytical skills for data analysis and decision-making.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional and overseas teams.

  • Ability to create clarity in ambiguous situations.

  • A track record of collaborative work with technical and non-technical team members.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

Senior Transportation Modeler

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct rigorous analysis utilizing Dynamic Traffic Assignment (DTA) models. Proficiency in using DynusT Software.

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Deliver quality projects on schedule and within budget.

  • Lead the development of technical reports and concept papers pertaining to the DTA model applications.

  • Engage with project technical stakeholders.

  • Assist with Business development and the growth of Metropia’s local and national opportunities.

  • Consistently and effectively manages time and workload.

  • Demonstrates good judgment in determining when to work independently and when to seek assistance.

  • Provides exceptional value-added service to clients (internal and external).

  • Strives to develop long-lasting client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Degree: Masters in Transportation Planning or Transportation Engineering.

  • Years of experience: 7+ years of related experience in transportation modeling.

  • PE or other related certifications desirable.

  • Experience with traffic operation models is required.

  • Experience with DTA models is preferred.

  • Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with emphasis on quality work products.

  • Be able to manage deliverable timelines.

  • Proven track record working with Department of Transportations (DOTs), Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) and other related public transportation agencies.

  • Immediate ability to work in the United States.

Senior ITS Project Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams and technology partners to design advanced technology solutions. Delegate tasks, set expectations, and ensure effective communication within the team.

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables and monitor allocated budgets. Deliver quality projects on schedule and within budget.

  • Lead the development of Concept of Operations (ConOps) and System Requirement Specifications (SRS) documents and support other system engineering documents pertaining to the proposed solutions.

  • Lead the development of concept papers and technical reports pertaining to mobility platforms applications.

  • Engage and manage project technical stakeholders.

  • Assist with Business development and the growth of Metropia’s local and national opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Degree: Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Transportation Engineering, Systems Engineering or related fields.

  • Years of experience: 10+ years of relative experience delivering advance technology solutions to public transportation agencies

  • PMP or other related certifications desirable.

  • Experience with system engineering documents, software documentation, data analytics platforms and data visualization tools.

  • Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills.

  • Strong skills to lead project teams.

  • Detail-oriented with emphasis on quality work products.

  • Proven track record working with Department of Transportations (DOTs), Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs) and other related public transportation agencies.

  • Experience with projects related to Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS), Integrated Corridor Management (ICM), Decision Support Systems (DSS) deployments or other related projects will be considered a plus.

  • Immediate ability to work in the United States.

  • Residence in Maryland, Washington DC or Northern Virginia is preferable.
